I love the variety of different plants, shrubs, and trees.  I enjoy the seeing the changes that occur as the seasons change. 
 

What our son likes about our garden:

Our son likes to play in and around the plants and pull veggies from the raised beds.
 

What surprises people most about our water-wise landscaping:

Many of the materials were provided free by the City of Petaluma through the city’s Mulch Madness Program.
 

What we like most about our water-wise garden:

It is so much more interesting than the traditional grass lawn and it uses far less water to keep it looking nice.
 

Saving water is important because…

fresh water is a limited resource and we need to do our part to preserve what we have for the benefit of all living things.
