Sue’s thoughts on her garden

My garden is a combination of all the things that are important to me:  A habitat for wildlife; a place to grow our own food; a colorful mix of flowers and flora for my arrangements; an area where native and drought tolerant plants are emphasized; a truly fulfilling adventure.

What my grandkids like about my garden

They love to search for bugs, capture frog eggs and watch them grow into polliwogs, and eat fruits and veggies right out of the garden.

Why is having a water-wise garden important?

Having a water-wise garden is good way to set an example for future generations and to free ourselves of the noisy, polluting, time consuming array of lawn mowers, blowers and weed whackers!
